check this out

being the usual net voyeur that I am, started surfing on Singapore opinion site and I came across this site that posts a defamatory remark made by C\hen J\iahao towards A\STAR, which eventually invited loads of comments, even from (the venerated) p\hilip y\eo himself. Read on the comments - some of them are interesting, but they eventually degenerate into a two-sided conversation between P\Y and this guy called D\ee, on this N\US student's site.

Dashes have been included to avoid bots from picking up my site whenever some random person googles the above mentioned names.

-surprised at how non-school days are as busy as schooling days. getting to my new workplace soon.

-mentor A\K was quite amused at the no of cards I sent her. hahaha yayness

I have gotten a virtual clock that tells SG time on my blog. YAY major happiness to end the day. =)

<3 Got the book Driven By Eternity. Although it was slightly (okay, very) exp (OUCH! feel the pinch in my pocket), it's been a refreshing read.

Some questions which got me thinking:

1. Our actions/thoughts on Earth will determine the judgement that we receive when we stand before God.

2. Our judgement by God will then determine what we spend eternity doing.

3. Therefore, only God will be able to judge us according to our individual motives and agendas behind each thing that we do - only He sees. Things that we do on earth affect us - regardless of whether we have an eternal/temporal perspective.

more updates later. audieu

After the electrico concert, my mom prepared supper and sumptous breakfast the next day for all of us. She then made popiah for lunch and I helped her to prepare the vegetables and other ingredients.Thank God for this fruitful time where I can catch up with my family members and I wanna thank God for my parents as well, who have been faithfully fulfilling their roles and bringing us up in an environment of care, love and trust.

After the "siong" week of marking/pre-As stress, I thank God for time to REST. =)

Today I thank God for yet another day of rest! :) haha although I awoke with a sore throat (going to see doctor later).. Am thinking of getting the book Driven By Eternity since everyone's been saying that it's good, and the fact that LIFE bookstores at some places like Compass Point have ran out of stocks shows that this book should have some substance (?)

I thank God for blessing me with a sister who can give me advice on uni stuff and friends who have gone through similar experiences, who can share them with me. :)

Thank God for teachers who so willingly helped me to enter my marks into the cockpit and thus preventing me from messing up the cockpit system (being the cockpit idiot i am).. haha..

Today we went back to RJC to collect our A level results. Really thank God (I think that these three words are an understatement in themself) for His abundant grace that has brought me through not only the exams, but also the ardous two years in RJC. All the ups and downs, laughter and tears, yesterday perhaps brought a final sense of closure. I pray that God's plan will be made clear to me so that I will follow what He has in store for me.

My grace is sufficient for you; for my power is made perfect in weakness
I think this verse really epitomized my journey in RJC, how God can work through the life of an ordinary soul. Thank God for blessing me beyond expectation and bringing tears of joy to my eyes. :)

After the collection of A level results, I went home to get changed for the Electrico concert at NUS. I had complimentary tickets as part of the CAP alumni. I went with Don, a fellow alumni member and we got circle seats! Not sure if it was VIP treatment but we could see the stage really clearly, except that in such rock concerts I suppose sitting on level 1 would be better as the people could rush to the front of the stage to dance etc. But Electrico was really really ( X 10 to the power of infinity) good and I had a blast. They did both jamming and unplugged equally well, and really raised the spirits of the crowd. It was local rock at it's best, though I felt that my eardrums were bursting at some points in time. There was even a reception afterwards for invited guests but I left during the encore and missed it. haha.

Anyway I want to thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to go for this concert, it seems like a celebratory gift for me to go enjoy myself at a live concert, something that I've not done for quite a long time. So I really enjoyed myself and thank you God for Your gifts. =)
